Playing with cubes

Since YJYF saw yiyi playing with cubes, they like it and jiu jiu buy both of them each.

I was very tired last night after whole day class.
YJ: 妈咪。。等下跟我读故事。
M: 我很累喔。。你自己读好吗？
YJ: ok..

YF: 妈咪。。等下跟我读故事。
M: 我很累喔。。
D: 哥哥跟你读可以吗？
YJ: 哈？嗯。。可以。
M: 哥哥会读《三只小猪》。
YF: ok..

When we reached home, the kids went straight to bedroom and read story book.
I was doing some house work then went up.
When I went up, YJ really was reading to YF, and YF sat beside him trying to follow and repeat the story.
After finish 《三只小猪》, YF went to get another book.

YF: 哥哥，跟我读这个。
YJ: 《木偶奇遇记》我不会！

But.. he still took the book and start reading. He skipped a few words, and some made up with his own word. It was very nice to see the them reading in peace! Yeah.. I think I can delegate my task sometimes, if I am tired. :-)

2009 舞蹈观摩赛

YJ participated in 2 dance - Hallowen and Wu Shu

The team got gold price for Hallowen and consolation price for Wu Shu.

Piano Class

YJ wanted to go for piano class.
He has been asking for quite sometimes.
At last, I told him that I will talk to Teacher Lim on this.
After talking to Teacher Lim, I decided to let him start in Jan.
I told him about this.

YJ: Now is Nov, I want to start in Dec.
M: But Teacher Lim is not free in Dec.
YJ: OK, then I start in Jan. So, Jan I will go half day.
M: har? I thought you like full day?
YJ: Jan I will go half day, because afternoon I will go piano class.
M: oh... no.. piano class will not be everyday. You can still go full day. Maybe piano class will be on Saturday.
YJ: Ok. Then I go full day, and Saturday I go piano class.

孩子爱看书

大约哥哥一岁时，我常常和他一起看书。大多数是很多图画的书、活动书等等。也可能是这样，现在哥哥爱看书，可以自己拿书看。我不太在意他会读完每一个字，我只希望他爱书。我不怕孩子输在起跑点上，我只希望培养他爱书的习惯。往后，他将会从书本得到很多很多。
弟弟呢？哎。。总是有种没关系，弟弟还小的念头。就让他玩吧！而我也没时间、没精力让他们俩一起看书。每天回家，就玩一下，喝牛奶，讲学校的故事，睡觉！就这样忙忙忙，弟弟已经三岁了！
我试着拿书给弟弟看，可他没耐性，一下就溜开了。好，没关系。慢慢来吧。别逼他。。
几天前，晚上，我问他们：要读故事书吗？哥哥和我讨价还价：三个！两个！好！两个！（很累了嘛。。）
弟弟拿了《三只小猪》和《木偶奇遇记》让我读，也乐在其中。原来他也爱看书！只是我没时间，忽略他了。。
接下来的两个晚上，弟弟还是拿了《三只小猪》和《木偶奇遇记》让我读，哈哈！他常常会注意图画里其他的东西，如小鸟，螃蟹。。会把它们加入故事里，很可爱！
嗯。。希望我们能每天继续读故事！

YF: Mommy, 教我做功课。
M: OK. Mommy 看。。哦。。他们吃什么？画线连起来。
YF: 我喜欢吃cake，小朋友喜欢吃cake，dog dog喜欢吃cake，rabbit喜欢吃cake。。
M: 不是。。小狗吃骨头，小白兔吃萝卜，羊吃草。。
YF: 不是。。全部人喜欢吃cake!
